✨ Generally speaking, this week it's important to focus on finding a good balance between work and rest. Give yourself enough time to relax and recharge. It's worth knowing: it's said that we can basically work almost as much as we want as long as we take time for recovery. When we become burned out, we've lost the ability to recover, and no matter how much we rest or sleep, we don't feel more energized for it. So remember: make time for recovery. Keep in mind that the brain also needs recovery, not just the body.
The best way to rest is through so-called active rest: Active rest means, instead of just lying down (or sitting on the couch watching movies and eating chocolate 😋), engaging in light physical activities that create relaxation and recovery. It can be anything from taking a walk in the forest, feeding the ducks 🦆 😊, brushing the dog 🐶, taking a bath or sauna, doing some gentle stretching, yoga, or Tai Chi and Qi Gong. By combining movement with relaxation, active rest can help the body get going and deal with the stressors that create tension in the body.
🛁 Don't have a bathtub, sauna, walking shoes, dog, or bread crumbs? Take micro-breaks. 😊
How to take micro-breaks? Micro-breaks are short pauses taken throughout the day to give both the body and mind a chance to recover and energize. These breaks can be as short as a few minutes. During a micro-break, you can stretch a bit, take a few deep breaths, close your eyes for a while - whatever feels good for a couple of minutes. Micro-breaks are said to reduce stress, improve concentration, and increase productivity.
Marita shares: I remember when the kids were little. Maybe we'd been on an outing and the kids fell asleep in the car. When we got home, I stayed in the car for a little while, just closed my eyes and gathered energy for the next phase. I remember very well how nice it was to just sit like that for a few minutes, nothing more was needed. Then I felt alert and strong again. 👩👧👦 😊
✨ This week, it's also important to dare to try something new and exciting. Be open to testing out new ideas and opportunities that come your way. It could be as simple as trying a new dish, taking a different route to work, or taking the time to learn something new. (Trying new things expands our minds and sends a signal to the Universe that we want more wonderful and new experiences. Great for those who feel life is a bit "status quo" and lacking excitement.) It might also be that you're presented with an incredibly exciting proposal that initially makes you hesitate because it's a bit outside your comfort zone. Take the leap, say the cards! 🔮 Remember: A flying crow gets something, a sitting one gets nada - as we say in Sweden. 🐦😊
✨ It's also a good week to: Go to the spa or buy cozy products for the bathroom, invite relatives to a party or (with good planning) to spring confirmations or graduation celebrations, attend an auction, or lay new gravel around the house. 🏠😊

💡 TIPS: Here's a reminder to get more daylight. Try to spend a little more time outdoors this week. Luckily, the days are longer and brighter now, also in the northern hemisphere! 🙏 Take a walk, enjoy a picnic in the park 🧺🥪🌳, or sit on the terrace or balcony for a while. If we don't get enough daylight, it can make us feel down, cause sleep problems, and make us tired and unfocused. (And hey, DON'T look at your windows, you can clean them another day. 😊)
💡 ADVICE: This week is a fantastic time to start something new and exciting. Take the opportunity now to take a first step towards a new goal. See it as a chance to sow a seed for future success and let your energy and creativity be your driving force. 😊 What do you want to start?
🚧 HINDER: If you've experienced painful losses, betrayals, or crises recently, it's important not to get stuck in feelings of hopelessness and loss. Instead of allowing yourself to sink into despair, try to focus on healing and recovering. See this as the end of a difficult period and the beginning of a new phase in your life. Take small steps every day to find your way back to yourself and the immense strength you've actually built up by now. Believe in your abilities, believe in yourself, and remember that things can change for the better and that it can happen quickly! 💖

I am great, I am enough!! 🌟 This is a very good affirmation for all of us, and especially for those who may feel inadequate or overlook the beauty they've created. It doesn't always have to be about big things. You can be happy and proud of something as simple as the flowers on your windowsill. 🌷😊 Or having a bike that can take you on fantastic adventures in nature. 🌳 What is rich and what is beautiful is up to each individual to determine.
